One band I'll remember for a long time to come is Caeser
Pink and The Imperial Orgy - this is definitely not your
run-of-the-mill band! At their November 11 show at the Posthouse
Tavern, their vivid imaginations were their only limit. Four
of the members studied film at Penn State University.
The culmination of all this creativity is a multimedia
spectacle combining alternative rock, funk, trip-hop, reggae
and beat poetry into a hellacious dance groove, set against
a backdrop of wide screen video imagery ranging from the
erotic to the socio-political. choreographed dance moves and imaginative costumes.
Beneath the visual spectacle, clever songs about social
issues, sexual liberation, political awareness and more.
The show is so hot it was cancelled in Lewistown after riots
were threatened against it's performance. The group plans a CD and an eventual migration to New York city.
